A position for Education Specialist for the elementary classroom will be filled at Â鶹Éç for a candidate with the following qualifications:
Job Class or Position: Special Education Teacher
Â鶹Éç intends to apply for a limited assignment special education permit in Extensive Support Needs for Julienne Sumodobila. After an extensive search for a special education teacher with an Extensive Support Needs credential- including multiple job postings across different platforms, recruitment agency, discussion with SFSU and SJSU credential program, attempts to contact other credential programs, and job fair- Â鶹Éç is unable to hire a teacher with the Extensive Support Needs credential. Julienne Sumodobila completed her student teaching at Â鶹Éç and has a credential in Early Childhood Special Education. Julienne intends to complete coursework to qualify for an Extensive Support Needs credential. Given Julienne’s familiarity and experience working with students at Â鶹Éç we feel this is the best fit for the education, communication, and health needs of our students.
