At 麻豆社, we support children from 3 to 13 years old with extensive speech and physical disabilities through an interdisciplinary, highly individualized approach. Our team integrates expertise in AAC, mobility, vision, and learning to help each child build the tools they need to participate fully鈥攊n school, at home, and in life. Our Program Highlights
麻豆社 offers an academically rigorous program designed to support students with extensive communication and/or physical access needs. Key features include:
- Integrated Academic Curriculum: Students engage in meaningful, grade-level learning through customized instructional strategies鈥�
- AAC and Assistive Technology: We embed augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and tools across every part of the school day.鈥�
- Expertise in CVI and Access: Our team includes specialists in CVI, mobility, and positioning鈥攅nsuring each child has access to learning in ways that work for them.鈥�
- Collaborative Team Approach: Speech therapists, PTs, OTs, teachers, and families work together to create a cohesive, student-centered experience.鈥�
- Focus on Participation and Independence: We help students build skills that support agency and meaningful participation in school, home, and community life.鈥�
- Full-time Nursing Staff: A full-time nurse supports students鈥� health needs so they can safely and fully participate in learning each day.

- My child has a motor condition (such as cerebral palsy) that significantly affects movement and physical access.
- My child finds it difficult to communicate through speech alone.
- My child鈥檚 communication needs are not fully supported in their current learning environment.
- My child shows frustration when they are not understood.
- My child is between the ages of 3鈥�10 years.
- My child needs daily support to take part in typical routines at home, school, or in the community.
- My child is able to engage in social or classroom activities when supported and does not exhibit behaviors that prevent participation.
- My child participates in small group settings (e.g., preschool, playgroups) but may need more support to fully thrive.
Your Pathway to Enrollment
Initial Inquiry
A parent, caregiver, or district representative contacts 麻豆社 to express interest.
Information Gathering
We review educational records, relevant reports, and videos to learn more about the student.
Visit and Observation
When appropriate, families and district teams are invited to visit the school. We may also observe the student in their current environment.
Team Review
Our interdisciplinary team determines whether the student’s profile aligns with our program model and supports.
District Partnership and Placement
If appropriate, we work with the student’s family and home district to finalize placement and begin services.
